Stephen Kozan
President
Stephen began his business career in 2000 at age twenty-one when he started Your Vital Signs, a digital sign company in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. During the adversity and growth of the business, he maintained his true passion for writing, and in 2015 founded ReadyAimWrite Publishing, where, to date, he has published five middle grade books and began touring schools across the country as part of his Imaginarium Story Studio author visit program. Those visits have exceeded 200+ schools and have reached in excess of 20,000 students.
In 2018 he founded ReadyAimWrite Kids, LLC, an imprint of ReadyAimWrite Publishing, which focuses on books written by kids for kids. To date he has published over 100 books written by kids ages 9 to 18.
Stephen advocates for Title 1 students by helping them cultivate their creativity. He believes strongly in mentorship through hands-on writing exercises, illustration and book publishing.
A highly motivated entrepreneur and business owner, he brings 20+ years of experience to Student Author Movement, where he lives out his dreams of helping kids who need mentorship through the teaching power of goals, accomplishment, and literacy.
